Ety is the President Commissioner of BRI Ventures, where she is responsible to supervise the management policy as well as the running of the company by the Board of Directors. Her position also means that she acts as an advisor to the Board, to make sure that the company keeps going on the right track.
Currently, she is also positioned as Division Head of Market, Portfolio and Enterprise Risk at BRI. Prior to that, she was holding numerous experience at BRI as the Division Head of Credit Risk Policy and Modelling, Deputy Division Head of Balance Sheet Management, Department Head of Strategic Investment, and Department Head of Investor Relations Communications.
As an experienced banker, skilled in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Business Strategy, Risk Management and Financial Analysis, she attended numerous training such as Executive Risk Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2021. She graduated from Melbourne Business School with a Master of Business Administration and Gadjah Mada University with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
Henri is apporinted as Independent Comissioner of BRI Ventures, where he is responsible to supervise the corporate policy and the running of the company by Board of Directors. He is also responsible to advise the Board to make sure that the company keep going on the right track.
Prior to joining BRI Ventures, Henri was the Money Market and Capital Market Director of BRI Pension Fund (2021-2022) and the Director of Finance and Operations at the same company (2020-2021). Prior to BRI Pension Fund, Henri has 31 years of working experience for PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, in several different roles and responsibilities such as International Bussiness, Legal, Investment Banking, Treasury, Operations as well as Asset and Liabilities Management. Lastly, Henri was the Division Head of Assets and Liabilities Management of Bank BRI.
Henri has a Bachelor of Law from University of Indonesia and Master of Law from the same University.
Agoosh is the Independent Commissioner of BRI Ventures. Starting his journey from conventional media firms to digital mediaspace, Agoosh has accumulated a long period of tenure and an acute expertise in mass media.
He is responsible in supervising the running of the company, especially making sure the Good Corporate Governance, Agoosh will act as the voice of the interests of Pasangan Usaha (Business Partners), Debtors, Creditors, Investors and other stakeholders. With his experience, Agoosh will play a key role in advising BRI Ventures on brand awareness and community building.
Agoosh is a graduate of the Indonesian College of Economics, Finance and Banking (STEKPI), where he was also active in various student activities and organizations on campus.
Nicko a tech pioneers, early-investor and ecosystem builder with a career span of over fifteen years in corporate transformation, venture capital and digital startup. Throughout his career, he has invested, mentored and incubated more than 100 startups globally via angel investment, Systec Ventures, Fenox Venture Capital, Global Entrepreneurship Program Indonesia, Mandiri Digital Incubator, and Telkom Indonesia’s Indigo Accelerator and MDI Ventures — where he currently holds the President Director and CEO positions.
He also holds multiple positions as board of directors in various technology companies in Southeast Asia, India, and the USA as well as advisory roles in multiple state-owned companies, namely Bank Mandiri, Pegadaian and Bank Rakyat Indonesia. In addition to that, he co-founded two companies focused on design and innovation: Jakarta-based Thinking Room and Los Angeles-based Mindcode.
Nicko holds a dual degree in Strategic Management and Anthropology from Oregon State University and an MBA from Dominican University.
Markus is responsible to manage strategic initiatives, expand the investor network, and establish and manage venture funds of BRI Ventures.
Previously he was the VP of Investment and Business Development. With $250 million in funds, BRI Ventures invests in early-stage and growth-stage startups, including unicorns such as Bukalapak and Grab. He led the fund's accelerator program, launching a $30 million fund in 2020 that invests in tech companies and a $50 million fund in 2021 to invest in direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands.
He was also experienced as The Head Digital Strategy at Bank BRI, where he is responsible to lead the digital strategy team and producing digital frameworks, innovation roadmaps, digital landscape analysis, and new business model exploration.
Before joining Bank BRI, Markus was involved in the South-East Asia startup ecosystem through various roles, including co-founder of Zelos. During this time gained experience by working with multiple investors, including Telkom Indigo and Telstra Muru-D in Singapore.
His 7+ years of experience in the digital industry give Markus a deep understanding of corporate-startup synergy as well as a large network to multiple corporations, especially state-owned enterprises.
He graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce.
Bayu is the Chief Portfolio & Financial Officer of BRI Ventures. He is responsible for financial, risks and operations side of the company's business process.
Prior to BRI Ventures, Bayu has 16 years of working experience for Bank BRI in several different roles and responsibilities such as Account Officer, Assistant Manager, Marketing Manager, Senior Manager, Assistant Vice President and Vice President. He was once appointed as Executive Assistant to the CEO of BRI in 2015 to 2017. His area of expertise include corporate strategy, financial analysis and organization development.
Bayu held a Bachelor of Economics from Gadjah Mada University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) major in Global Banking & Finance from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Erik is the Head of Investment of BRI Ventures, responsible in managing deal sourcing and deployment activity of BRI Ventures investment team.
Prior to his investment career, Erik was a founder and serial entrepreneur, running his own business and startup. Erik graduated as one of the best graduates of Founder Institute Jakarta 2016, incubated in Ideabox incubator (powered by Indosat Ooredoo), received government startup grant and came up as the winner of various startup competitions in Indonesia.
Erik held a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from President University and Master of Business Administration with a first class honours from University College Dublin.
Odie is the Head of Finance and Operations of BRI Ventures. He is responsible for financial supervision and management of finance, human resources and company operations. He holds Bachelor of Agroindustrial Technology degree from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.
Prior to joining BRI Ventures, Odie worked at Bank BRI and experienced in handling projects related to good corporate governance and anti-money laundering in Compliance Division. He also responsible in banking operations, general affair and human capital resources management as an Operations Manager at Bank BRI's branch.
Khaidir is the venture-fund specialist, handling all aspects of the fund manager function, from operation to investor relations, monitoring fund performance and financial aspects, build relationships with current and future investors and actively engage with OJK & Custodian Bank. To date, Khaidir is managing the Sembrani Nusantara fund, the first venture fund under OJK.
Prior to BRI Ventures, Khaidir has 4 years of experience across the Financial & Capital Market industry such as The Indonesia Capital Market Institute (TICMI), a subsidiary of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as a Business Strategist Supervisor, Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia as a Senior Fund Valuation in 2018-2019, Investment Management at PT Majoris Asset Management as an Investment Associate then promoted as Marketing Strategist 2016-2018, and he also awarded as the Best Employee of the year 2017.
Khaidir holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from International Accounting Program Syiah Kuala University with Cum Laude honor. He also holds several certifications such as Investment Manager Representative (WMI) & Broker-Dealer Representative (WPPE) from Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK).
Bima started working with Investor Relations & Strategy team in 2020 and is passionate about driving disruptive innovation in Venture Capital Industry. Currently, Bima will be handling all aspects of the investment in Sembrani Nusantara Venture Fund such as Proactively source and manage investment opportunities, Build and manage good relationships with founders and entrepreneurs, Perform market research to help identify new investment trends and opportunities, Conduct detailed due diligence for each investment opportunity, Conduct thorough detailed check on the P&L to make sure potential investment will bring growth to the venture fund and Support investment team in negotiation and investment execution.
Prior to BRI Ventures, Bima has 4 years of experience across the financial industry such as Banking at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia as a Digital Strategy Analyst in 2018, Advisory & Consulting Firm at Independent Research & Advisory Indonesia as an Analyst in 2017, and Capital market at Nong Hyup Korindo Securities as an Equity Analyst in 2016, with coverage in banking and property industry.
Bima holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Sebelas Maret University. He also holds several certifications such as Investment Manager Representative (WMI) & Broker-Dealer Representative (WPPE) from Indonesia Financial Services Authority, Certified Securities Analyst from The Indonesia Capital Market Institute, and Advanced Valuation Certificate Course from NYU Stern.
Helsa started her first full time job as a Sales Consultant while she was in Melbourne and then became a Financial Analyst as part of the Financial Planning and Analysis Team at a Steel Trading Company in Indonesia. During her tenure, she focused mainly on Financial Forecasting, Reporting, Operational Metrics tracking and Process Optimization. Now as an Investment Associate in BRI Ventures, Helsa supports the team by providing research and information to ensure that investment portfolios are well managed and that potential opportunities are brought up. Helsa went to the University of Melbourne for her studies and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, majoring in Finance and Accounting. She speaks English and Bahasa Indonesia and has basic communication skills in Chinese Language.
Bianca is a Junior Investment Associate, responsible in deal sourcing and managing deals from end-to-end. Prior to working in BRI Ventures, she has several internship experiences in investment banking & venture capital industry.
Her long list of internships, including as an Investment Analyst intern at Kejora Capital, Project Manager at Founder Institute, and Investment Banking Analyst at Favour Capital, has given her the exposure of Venture Capital & start-up industry in the Southeast Asia Market, where she practices her research skills and analytical thinking.
Other than her investment career, she is also an entrepreneur, currently building her own business in the fashion industry. Her 3 years experience in building a business has equipped her with business management & communication skills, where she learns to work in a team and adapt quickly to new people. Bianca is a native speaker in Indonesian, and she is highly proficient in English.
Adhia graduated from Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia, International undergraduate program, with a various professional and extracurricular experiences. In 2019. she also passed the Indonesian Bar Exam held by Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (PERADI) in Jakarta.
Her list of internships includes being a legal intern at PT Mandiri Capital Indonesia where she learned the dynamics of venture capital and its correlation with law. She also experienced an internship at Karimsyah Law Firm where she was exposed to works that emphasizes on legal research.
Adhia has a range of skillset in her legal profession as well as her communications and ability to work efficiently in a team. Adhia is highly proficient in English which extends to its law related implications.
Rheine is an adaptive and goal-driven female who had graduated from Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia within 3.5 years, with various organizational and volunteer experiences such as becoming one of the few Indonesian delegates for the 2018th Youth Assembly New York, organized by United Nations and a Project Officer for one of the biggest music and film festival in Universitas Indonesia.
Rheine has several internship experiences on working in the field of law. She gain knowledge and experiences in legal knowledge related research, especially in Payment Obligation and Bankruptcy transactions, when she was an intern at Assegaf Hamzah & Partner (AHP) Law Firm. She also has experience as Industrial Relation Team Member at PT Pertamina (Persero) and participate in solving various employment cases. Those experiences have developed Rheine to become a well-rounded legal associate and a great team player when dealing with clients.
Elvha Aditia Sidik is an Internal Auditor of BRI Ventures, responsible for providing independent and objective assurance to ensure internal control processes are operating effectively. As an Internal Auditor, she also has a role as Strategic Business Partner in supporting a venture’s business.
Prior to joining BRI Ventures, Elvha was a Compliance Officer in BRI dan BRI Life for 5 years with some experience in developing Good Corporate Governance implementation and compliance functions. With Banking audit skills, she also has experienced as a BRI Branch Resident Auditor for 3 years which was responsible to ensure banking operations and business activities meet the standard and quality of the audit system.
Elvha graduated from Bogor Agricultural University with a Bachelor of Economics.
Mei is responsible for the portfolio management and corporate strategy of BRI Ventures.
Prior to joining BRI Ventures, Mei was joined as a Corporate Transformation's Team at Bank BRI, with 3 years of experience managing strategic initiatives for Corporate Banking BRI. Before that, she was a Corporate Relationship Manager with 2 years of experience managing the relationships between BRI and State-Owned Enterprises, especially in port, finance, and telecommunication industries.
Mei graduated from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya with a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering.
Edward has been working in finance and accounting field since he was graduated. In BRI Ventures, he is responsible in journaling and finance reporting activities, also reviewing the internal financial transaction and reporting policies to the most updated external regulations.
Prior to joining BRI Ventures, Edward worked as Head of Finance & Accounting in PT Raha Aset Manajemen and as Head of Tax Department in PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).
Visi is responsible for the Human Capital and General Affair of BRI Ventures.
Prior to joining BRI Ventures, Visi was a Human Capital Team Member in Bank BRI for 7 years. She was involved in several Talent Management Projects in Bank BRI, such as building and implementing multichannel recruitment program, developing talent assessment system, and building career infrastructure to build a better talent management system in Bank BRI and its subsidiaries.
She was graduated from Universitas Airlangga as a Bachelor of Psychology with Industrial and Organizational Psychology concentration.
